Privacy policy

Privacy for parent-managed learning.

Last updated: September 14, 2026. This policy explains the privacy principles Pobbi uses while supporting children, parents and learning data.

What Pobbi collects

Pobbi may collect parent account details, child profile information provided by a parent or guardian, learning activity, answers, progress signals, homework descriptions and uploaded homework files when that feature is used.

We avoid public child profiles, social feeds and ad-targeting surfaces. Learning data exists to adapt the learning experience, produce parent-visible reports and keep the product reliable.

Homework uploads

Original homework files are treated as private assets. They should not be exposed through public APIs or published exercise-bank content.

When Pobbi creates reusable learning content, it should use cleaned, anonymous prompt data rather than original files, filenames or private storage references.

Service providers

Pobbi may use hosting, database, authentication, payment, analytics, AI or OCR providers to operate the service.

Provider access should be limited to what is needed to run the product, protect accounts, process payments, improve reliability and support learning features.

Retention and deletion

Pobbi is designed to keep learning records only as long as they are useful for the account, required for safety, needed for operations or required by law.

Private homework assets should have shorter retention windows than account or learning-summary records.

Parents can delete a child profile, or the whole account, from parent settings. Deleting a child profile permanently removes that child’s answers, learning checks, progress scores, reports and uploaded homework files. Deleting an account does the same for every child on it straight away, stops the subscription renewing, and then permanently removes the account itself after 30 days, during which the request can be withdrawn. Billing records are kept in anonymised form after that.

Data export is not yet self-service. Contact Pobbi to request a copy of the data held for your account.

Children and parents

Pobbi is a parent-managed learning product. Children should use it with permission from a parent or guardian.

Parents are responsible for setting up child profiles, supervising use where appropriate and contacting Pobbi if information needs to be corrected or removed.

This page is product guidance, not a substitute for formal legal review. Before serving families at scale, Pobbi should review this policy with qualified privacy counsel.
